The Rabbit Done Died
"The rabbit died" is an old saying meaning one is pregnant, coming from the now no longer practiced rabbit test.
Congratulations!
You're pregnant. Knocked up. Eating for two. Have a bun in the oven.
Insert your own cliched phrase here. No matter how you say it, you're
downright fertilized. Even if you're not typically in possession of a
womb, somehow it happened. Are you scared? Happy? Gassy? A combination
of everything? And who's the father, anyway?

1. Post with your character with their name and series in the subject line. If
you want to avoid any of the options, this would also be a good place to
list them.
2. This is one of those RNG memes, so you'll want to go to our good friend Random Number Generator and roll 1-6 for how far along you are. Or just pick what one you'd prefer.
3. If you're replying to someone, roll 1-4 for how you factor into this madness!
What's your role in this whole mess, person replying?

So, how far along are you anyway?
1. Two months - Sooooo all this sickness is kind of annoying, isn't it? At least you can still fit in your old clothes, right?
2. Four months - Okay, so things are getting a little tight. Time to break out the flowy stuff!
3. Six months - OH MY GOD IT'S AN ALI-- oh, no. It's just the baby moving. Although it's still kind of creepy, isn't it?
4. Eight months- Please. Please let it be over. Have mercy.
5. Overdue - C'mon kid! I'll buy you a pony! NO! TWO PONIES! My baaaaaack.
6. Wildcard - Your choice!

1. YOU ARE THE FATHER - Well, now you've gone and done it. Are you going to take responsibility, or head for the hills?
2. Friend - You may not have done the deed, but you're going to be there to help your buddy. No matter HOW weird the circumstances!
3. Enemy - Do you feel a 'HAW HAW' coming on? This is just too funny.
4. Wildcard - Second verse, same as the first!

01. You’ve just gotten the news, you’re pregnant. Time to tell your spouse. OR You’ve just gotten the news, you’re approved for adoption! Time to tell your spouse.
02. Oh my God, you’re in labor! OR Oh my God, time to meet your adoption prospect.

11. Other! Get creative, go nuts.

She'd be lying if she said being a mother wasn't something she's been looking forward to for a while. Perhaps she wasn't expecting it to happen so soon, but, it is what it is.]
You don't have to worry so much, you know. I'm totally fine, I promise.

[Hm, she wondered how Richard was doing without her right now.]
I know... It's nearly the end of the first trimester and you're doing well. [Nausea and fatigue aside.]

I always did say I was tougher than I look. I'm sure the baby will be pretty tough, too...
You didn't start to get really sick until around the second trimester or so, though, so I'm hoping I can keep it up...if anything goes wrong, though, at least I have you and Elsa, though.

WILDCARDS ALL OVER THE PLACE
Either way, it's absurd! I mean, who's ever heard of people dropping infants off on doorsteps, outside of stories and fairy tales? And at the front gates of the Queen's castle, no less... Elsa, of course, had wanted to track down the child's parents at once. But Anna...
... Anna had taken the baby in immediately. And Elsa had let her sister run off inside, because she really needed to take a minute to calm her nerves before she froze something. So, after a few deep breaths, Elsa returned to the castle, making her way up to Anna's room where she hoped her sister would be.]
Anna...?
I'M CRYING
That being said, after giving the baby all she could eat and cleaning her off, Elsa would indeed find her in her room, softly singing to the child, making sure she was totally sound asleep before setting her down...she had already requested that Gerda put a crib in there. It looks like, as usual, Anna was taking one of her impulse decisions way too far...but she can't help herself. This baby was left here, and didn't have anyone else...it didn't look like the child was lost or left by mistake. Whoever left her here had done so because they had no other options...]
YOU WERE THE ONE THAT SUGGESTED IT SO IT'S YOUR FAULT
... Any form of protest, however, dies in her throat when she gets a good look at Anna cradling the infant, with that smile on her face... something about that image warmed Elsa's heart in a way that few other things have.]
It looks like you've been busy.
MWAHAHAHA
She doesn't want to do this alone. She wants Elsa to help.]
Isn't she just the cutest..? I can't believe someone could just leave her here. Her parents must've not been able to take care of her...
She needs us, Elsa.

4-2, Kalos ending I guess
He still visits from time to time, though.
There is a knock at your door. Someone heard the big news and decided to help out the new parents in what small way he could.]

[Eight months in and Naomi has moved temporarily to be closer to Walker and company. They told who they could, made periodic check-ups and check-ins, and things were going well.]
[There indeed is a knock at the door. Slowly she gets up and makes her way over to the door. She looks through the peephole before opening it, surprised at who it happens to be.]
Hello, Cecil.

Except the small spare room that was being converted into a nursery. That's a wreck and a half because trying to build a crib on your own is amazingly difficult. He's surrounded by parts and screws, scrutinizing the directions that are unfortunately written in Kalosian.
There's no way this isn't going to end in tears and busted thumbs.]

[With Alyssa playing downstairs, Naomi remained in the apartment, trying to find something to occupy her time. When nothing caught her eye, she decided to see what Walker was up to. Last she recalled, he was in the nursery. So, rising slowly from the chair, she headed through the small apartment and found the room soon enough. Sure enough, he was inside with parts scattered around. She tapped three times on the door to get his attention.]

Parenting, 3-ish
When he heard little Yuka whimpering, he did his best, offering a soothing voice and seeing if maybe it was time to eat or to change her. But when she started to cry, he turned frantic and tried pacing the hallways with her, going through every bit of advice his mother had given him.
Yet nothing worked. Naoto always calmed the baby, and soon she was settled down in the crib for another nap.
Kanji all but collapsed on the couch and lay his head back, expression absolutely crestfallen.
"She hates me."
no subject
She felt terrible when Yuka almost immediately stopped sobbing in her arms and wasn't at all troubled being put down for a nap by her. She was all cried out and sleeping quietly, her little mobile spinning and playing a soft lullaby overhead.
The detective closed the door quietly and walked back into the living room to find Kanji on the couch, and Minoru playing with his toys on the floor. Walking around the toys, she joined Kanji on the couch and patted his arm. "She doesn't hate you, Kanji..."

After months of the looks his own daughter would give him, the talks with his PTSD therapist after the war had turned to how he could be a better dad for his own kids. He did his best and played Featherman, spent time with his son who was now making quiet racecar noises as he pushed the little toy car through the living room. But maybe... maybe some kids just clicked better with one parent than the other.
"I dunno, Naoto. Maybe she's scared of me. All these extra scars I got must freak her out..." His jaw visibly tightened. The scar he'd had through junior high and high school was one thing, but these new marks were from his time spent in that place. He'd look in the mirror and constantly be reminded of it, and he still had the nightmares.
"Everything Ma's suggested ain't cuttin' it, neither. I ain't gonna give up on my own kid! But... I wish she'd gimme a chance."
