What: The Locked Place post-game world-hopping and AU shenanigans (Survivorswap, Actor AU, and other such kink meme-inspired prompts)
Who: Luis and YOU! (Open to The Locked Place gamemates AND RE4R castmates)
Where: Luis is (eventually) going to end up in the suburbs of DC with Leon and ~~their two daughters~~ Pratibha and Eui. However, he loves nothing more than an adventure, and the keys provide a very useful way to visit other places without getting ~*~super arrested~*~, so you can get him pretty much anywhere if you want him to be!
When: Anytime! He might not be going with Leon immediately post-game (in order to keep from getting ~*~super arrested~*~), and the "quaint suburban house" is more of a "cramped downtown apartment" for the first few months but those are guidelines. He's alive and ready to party. I'm even up for "missing scenes" if there's something you wanted to play out in-game but we never got around to!

A: Hidden in Hightown
[The masked rogue is a shadow around Hightown, flitting from trellis to rooftop to alley. He seems almost like he's looking for someone, but if trouble finds him instead it finds itself quickly dispatched with a flash of his blades and near-superhuman agility.]

B: Old Habits
[He seems much more at home in Lowtown, trading his full head wrap for a simpler mask that covers only his face, styled with short horns curling above his forehead and frozen, snarling carved teeth like it's meant to evoke a fearful image of a Qunari. The fearsomeness of his mask is offset by how friendly and approachable he carries himself. Even in the Hanged Man, he tips it back only enough to quaff down his drink before he's back to laughing and chattering happily with whoever is curious enough about him to strike up a conversation. He has a ringing, boyish laugh and a boisterous voice. And no matter how much he drinks, at the end of the night he doesn't get up swaying at all.]

[The man is a wonder to watch in the field - when you can see him, anyway. But at some point, the flash of white light and glint of steel stops and the mysterious rogue hits the ground.]

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young princess lived in a shining castle. Though she was given everything she desired, she grew up harsh and unforgiving, her heart cold and hard. Nevertheless, word spread far and wide of her beauty, and attracted suitors from all corners of the kingdom. But the princess had no use for love, and spurned every one.

One day, a mage arrived at the castle, seeking the princess' hand like all the others. When she rebuked him as she had the rest, he warned her that her cold heart would betray her. When she refused him again, he raised his staff, and set on her a gift and a curse. The gift was set on her heart, that it would be filled with love, and a desire to be truly loved in return. The curse was set on her lips, that she could never confess her love aloud, or admit to her true feelings. Only if she could earn the love of another, who would see through her harsh exterior to the love within, would she be free of the curse. If he could not, she would be doomed to be alone and unloved for all time.

As the years passed, the princess fell deep into despair. For who could ever learn to love her, never knowing she was capable of love in return?

There's a new face at Skyhold, and the mage in the violet robes is taking a moment to get his bearings in the mountain stronghold. Checking out the stables, the tavern, everywhere that is open for the kind-of public and new recruits. Even though his robes are obviously Orlesian (being ostentatious and flashy as they are, a fabric that's not even available to find and probably does little to no actual good), he seems very down to earth and charming, for a mage.

B:

He has nothing but utmost respect for the non-mage surgeon who tends to the Inquisition's wounded. But he closes his eyes and summons up a brilliant blue healing light around his hands, letting it surge forward and wrap around the wound, knitting skin and bone back together and purging all fever. Whether you're the patient or just somebody who happens to see it, Spirit Healing is a pretty uncommon sight, and a pretty beautiful one.

C:

North is useless at tromping around the wilderness. Please save him from tripping over his own robes and falling ass over teakettle into a bear. He may be about the same size as a bear but it definitely has him beat in bulk. Or help this man start a fire. Basically just protect him. He is a delicate circle mage.

Afterlife Masquerade

We all know that life is a party, but what if death was too? Welcome to the afterlife masquerade, where you can mingle with your fellow tethered spirits, or maybe get that last dance that you didn't get a chance to while you were alive.

All the deceased guests at the masquerade wear a mask that's somehow based around the way that they died, like one themed around smoke and ashes for someone who died in a fire, or crumbling earth for someone buried alive. The suit or gown can be a little less literal, either a thematically matching version of what they were wearing when they died/what they were buried in, or something new altogether.

ACTING AU MEME

There's two variations of this AU to play with:

1) The Dressing Room
Come offstage at the end of your scenes, congratulate each other on a death well done or a particularly well-acted trial. You almost had me convinced I was dead!

2) Enforced Method Acting
There's no stage or scenes or scripts here. You're all still in Dangan Island/Despair Space Station/Hope's Peak Academy Donut Campus, and you're all being picked off like flies... Except instead of actually dying, you just get taken to a "green room" where, surprise! All those people you thought were also dead are just hanging out eating finger sandwiches and watching the reality TV show that you were all living back when everyone thought you were, you know. Living.

2-A) This Trial Was Filmed in Front of a Live Studio Audience
Same as 2, except the survivors won their final trial against Monobear and now it's time to leave the school. But the walls of the courtroom fall down to reveal some familiar voices cheering them on.

THE RULES

1) Anyone whose fate currently remains uncertain to everyone but yourself keep it to yourself. This should go without saying, but since everyone knows their roles now we don't want to ruin the fun of the real mysteries by just playing out the same mysteries ahead of time! If you know you're doomed, be a survivor! If you know you're a survivor, time to see what the fallout would be if someone bumped you off! Have fun and be creative!

1-A) If you are currently dead, feel free to mix it up and give being a survivor a try! Or plot out a different murder with someone else! Trying out a different role from the one you know you have isn't just reserved for the people who are currently alive.

2) Stay classy, be nice. While this is just for fun and therefore not as closely conduct monitored, we still want everyone to have fun. Don't make your fun at someone else's expense.

3) This is open to the casts of Round 1, the Mock Trial, and Round 2. We ask that you don't blend the casts, and mark which round you're from in the header of your comment. (If you were in one or more, put all applicable.)

Norman had been reluctant to acquiesce to Ethan's request to let him cook dinner just because it was Norman's birthday, but while Ethan's nose had remained sensitive, his stomach seemed to have toughened up over the last few weeks, and dinner was delicious and a hit with everyone. Norman didn't think 36 was that big of a deal - he'd already vowed to Ethan a couple of days in advance that any birthday plans would be returned upon him tenfold on Ethan's own 40th in less than a month. But it turned out that his fears were unfounded, the evening was a quiet one with just the three of them, and the only way you could have known it was someone's birthday was by the cake and ice cream they had for dessert.

As a result, Norman was in high spirits as he loaded the dishes that had been soaking since dinner into the dishwasher while Ethan put Shaun to bed.

Summary: Augus meets one of his newest tributes.

To say Augus was well-known (in his district, anyway) was an understatement. He won his Games after being blinded by a chemical bomb from one of the other tributes. He famously only killed those who posed a real threat; he didn't lay a hand on the cowards or the children (or most of the female tributes, either, unless they impressed him). He had changed so little after the Games. He remained boisterous and carefree, picking fights with anyone dumb enough to take him up on it. It was like he didn't realize that he had lived at the expense of twenty three other children, teens with families they would never return to. Or, more likely, he knew that well, but thought himself the victor. The one who stands in the end is righteous.
After the Games, even the Capitol's medicine had been unable to restore his sight. He gained heat-sensing implants, as part of his prize, which meant that it didn't take him long at all to become just as formidable an opponent as he had been before being blinded. Which was both good and bad for his tributes, because he took a fairly hands-on approach to preparing them for the arena.

Who needs odds when you have your fists?
